What you will learn: you will learn a few basic hand embroidery notions and 8 stitches that every beginner needs to know. We will cover back stitch, lazy daisy, stem stitch, fishbone stitch, chain stitch, woven rose, french knots and satin stitch. You will learn all the basics to finish your project at home.

What you will need: patience (embroidery is a slow art!)

What we will supply: full beginners kit which includes instruction booklets, a wooden hoop, selection of threads, calico cotton fabric, needles. Other supplies will be available on the day (scissors, threaders).

Level: beginners, no experience needed.

Please note we try to calculate how long a workshop will be and plan to finish each garment in the allocated time but this isn’t always possible, If you are unable to finish in the workshop time we will make sure you are confident with your garment to be finished at home.

We need a minimum of 4 people for this workshop go ahead, if this number isn’t achieved by one week before we will be contacting you with an alternative date, if you are unable to re-schedule, we offer a full refund. Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again.
