A new workshop from ther fabtastic EmBeaRoidery showcasing the skill of reverse appplique using different tecniques and some embroidery. A slow art, giving you time for yourself. 

You will learn a few basic hand embroidery notions and stitches (for example back stitch, split stitch and chain stitch) and how to add some floral shaped embellishments with the reverse appliqué technique on a cotton tote bag.

What you will need: patience (embroidery is a slow art!)

What we will supply: a medium cotton tote bag with long handles, and a variety of fabrics patterns and threads colours and to choose among. If you have any fabric scraps at home or pieces of cotton fabric you really love, feel free to bring those to be used too on the day, there will be needles, hoops and scissors to help with the process.

Myself and my daughter came in to choose a pattern to get us back into sewing again.
