Morris Blazer No 2

Here is the finished Morris Blazer. 

For those of you who follow me on Social media you would have seen the great debate, well not really a great debate more of a landslide vote in the direction of Black/contrast to be honest!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all who commented and posted, I really do love my Morris blazer number 2 and I will be making another one with the already cut out collar facing of this one.

Things I did differently on this blazer compared to the pattern 

• I sew a row of stitches down the front when I have finished to stop the facings falling open when I walk
• I didn't use interfacing as this was quite a heavy/stable ponte
• I didn't use sleeve facings, I lengthened the sleeves just slightly and also narrowed them by my wrists
