Me Made May day 13 - tiny pocket tank and a wriggle skirt combo
I have two handmade garments on today.
Another of my tiny pocket tanks by Grainline studio, this time in a great cotton fabric called Zombie Love by Michael Miller, it has cute little Zombie’s drawn which are getting married, not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it. Finished with the lovely satin bias binding I have used before.
The skirt is made from some of our Make basic range fabric, a stretch velvet fabric which was lovely to sew with.
I made a jersey wriggle skirt from a skirt I already owned. I drew around the skirt to make the pattern and then used my lovely brother sewing machine on a zigzag stitch to sew it up. I just turned down the top and inserted some elastic, a little hem and there you go a quick jersey skirt.
This skirt is great dressed up or down depending on the day and such a quick and simple project.
My accessories today are also handmade, the earrings are one of my fabulous button earrings, which I have tonnes of, I can make them in any button style just choose your button and I can make them.
My fabulous necklace was made by a good friend who is a talented florist and made me one of these fab Beano mag paper necklaces.
